Edward William Jesse, 81, of Greensburg, died Saturday, April 30, 2016. He was born Oct. 9, 1934, in Manor, a son of the late Edward C. and Mary (Wolfgang) Jesse. He was a Carnegie Mellon graduate and retired as a managing engineer at Elliott Company, Jeannette. He was a member of Youngwood Sportsmen's Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Scott Alan Jesse; two brothers, Robert and Gerald Jesse; two nephews, Glenn E. Seymour and Kevin D. Jesse; and a niece, Luanne Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Marlene J. (Bossert) Jesse; a son, Dr. Steven William Jesse (Debbie), of Manhattan, Mont.; two grandchildren, Andrew and Dylan Jesse; two brothers, Jack Jesse (Elaine), of Aiken, S.C., and Gary Lee Jesse (Jean), of Sheffield Lake, Ohio; two sisters, Connie L. Seymour and Dorothy J. Barkell, both of Salisbury, Md.; a stepson, Glenn Gold (Ann), of Latrobe; a step-granddaughter, Candice Wansor (Patrick), of Greensburg, and Jessica Gold; three step-great-grandchildren, Jillian, Gabriel and Weston Wansor; an aunt, Norma Wolfgang, of Irwin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
