Dolores J. Rhodes, 87, of Greensburg, formerly of Smithton, died Sunday, October 14, 2018. She was born May 5, 1931, in Smithton, a daughter of the late Harry and Rachel Mae Heltebran Snyder. She was a member of Charter Oak United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Rhodes, and a sister, Maxine Kallenborn. She is survived by two sons: Roger Rhodes, of Mt. Pleasant, and Rodney Rhodes, of Davisburg, Mich.; two daughters: Rhonda (Al) Getty, of Monroeville, and Raeshel (Jeffrey) Ziegler, of Beaver; and eight grandchildren: Alyson (Chris) Grimm, Bryan Rhodes, Zachary Rhodes, Kiersten Rhodes, Matthew Getty, Marissa Getty, Cassidy Ziegler, and Hailey Ziegler. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018 at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, and from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at the United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at the United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant, 645 W. Main St., Mt. Pleasant. Interment will follow in Hoffman Cemetery, S. Huntingdon Twp.
