Victor S. Shields, 73, of Greensburg, died Monday, June 4, 2018. He was born April 10, 1945, in Braddock, a son of the late John and Marie McGoldrick Shields. Vic had been a truck driver and had tended bar at Harry’s Bar, in Greensburg. He loved playing golf, reading, and watching old westerns. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers: Jack and Richard Shields. He is survived by two daughters: Tracy (Bob) Germanoski, Harrison City, and Stacy (Richard) Logan, of Trauger; a son, Dennis (Holly) Shields, of Level Green; five grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Hailey, Colton, Cameron, and Connor; a sister, Donna Sekerka, of Irwin; and a number of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Christine Balash, of Greensburg. Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. The family wishes to thank Heartland Hospice for the care that Vic received.
