Thomas J. Zebrak, 62, of Greensburg, died unexpectedly, Monday, April 23, 2018. He was born Jan. 30, 1956, in El Paso, Texas, a son of the late Frank P. and Anna F. Linkowski Zebrak. He was a 1974 graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic High School and graduated from Penn State University, while onboard the USS Nimitz. A true patriot who loved his country, Tom served 20 years in the Navy. After retiring as a chief petty officer, he worked as a supply manager at Scott Electric, of Greensburg. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman, a tremendous Pittsburgh Pirates fan and a lover of history. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Frank S. Zebrak; a sister-in-law, Marcy Rankin Zebrak; and a niece, Audra Lee Zebrak. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Logan Zebrak; two daughters, Katherine S. Zebrak, of Salem, Mass., and Kristen K. Zebrak, of Philadelphia; two brothers, Charles J. (Carolyn) Zebrak, of Mt. Pleasant, and Gregory J. (Wendy Fox) Zebrak, of Latrobe; two sisters, Valerie (John) Spataro, of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Mary (David) Kiehl, of Herminie; many nieces and nephews whom he adored, and they adored him. There was no one like Uncle Tom. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, John A. (Leona) Logan, of Acme; and "Lily". Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment with full military honors accorded by the Navy and the VFW Post 33 Honor Guard will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
